At MiCareer Hub, we believe that every South African learner deserves clarity, support and a meaningful vision for the future. Our mission is to walk alongside learners from Grade R through school, up to tertiary studies and into the world of work — empowering them to choose, plan and thrive in a career that brings purpose and possibility.
Who we are
MiCareer Hub is a comprehensive guidance platform dedicated to providing awareness, mentoring, advice and practical support for South African learners. We know that the journey from school to career can be uncertain — from subject choices, to selecting a study course, to identifying opportunities for internships and employment. We exist to bridge that gap and promote excellence in performance. With our “Guidance Centre” we offer services such as subject-chooser, course finder, careers & occupations resources. Our online self-study app helps learners excel in their school work.
What we offer
- Career Awareness & Exploration – We help learners discover the variety of careers open to them, understand the world of work, and identify their own interests and strengths.
- Subject Choice & Pathway Planning – Through our tools and guidance, learners make informed subject and career decisions, setting strong foundations for further study or work.
- Tertiary & Post-School Support – We assist with applications, registration deadlines, higher education funding options and linking learners to professional bodies, sector authorities, internships and employment opportunities.
- Tutoring & Academic Support – At school levels, we offer extra tuition on critical subjects (especially STEM/AC), mentoring and library-support programmes to help uplift academic readiness.
- Self-learning – Through our dynamic miCloud program, learners are able to achieve excellent performance in their schoolwork through digital educational gaming apps.
Why it matters
The path from school to meaningful employment is often fraught with uncertainty: many learners are unsure of their strengths, lack access to up-to-date career information, or find themselves stuck in courses or jobs that don’t align with their talents or ambitions. By providing a clear roadmap and trusted learning support, MiCareer helps turn possibility into purpose — aligning learners’ passion, potential and the marketplace.

We envisage addressing learning challenges from the foundational phase, bridging critical and scarce-skills gaps, reducing youth unemployment, and helping our youth create a future they can be proud of.
