OVERVIEW

Micareer prides itself in providing a world-class solution for high school learners seeking career guidance.

We offer 2 types of guidance workshops, explained below:      

Subject Choice / Career Selection Guidance Workshop  

This workshop is targeted at Grade 9 and Grade 10 learners to guide them in making one of the biggest decisions in their career journey. We assist learners to select the subjects that are appropriate for the programs they intend studying at university/college relating to the career(s) they are interested in pursuing after high school.

“Gr12: University/College/Bursary/Study Funding Applications Support Workshop”: 

Being granted admission to a university/college is based on achieving that institution’s APS (Admission Point Score). We assist Grade 12 learners in identifying which universities/colleges, together with the programs at those institutions they qualify for, based on their exam results.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions below, before completing the online registration form:

  1. The cost to attend any one of the above workshops is R600.
  2. To attend a workshop, you are required to complete the Online Registration form below.
  3. Upon receipt of your registration form, we will contact you to confirm your workshop booking, finalise your registration and issue you with an invoice for payment.
  4. Final confirmation to attend a workshop will be granted once proof of payment has been received. Proof of payment to be emailed to: finance@micareerhub.co.za
  5. All payments must be made into the Micareer bank account via EFT/direct deposit as follows: Account Name: Micareer (Pty) Ltd | Bank: FNB | Acc Number: 63001686261 | Ref: Your name and surname.
  6. Our workshops are conducted via Zoom/Google Meet. As a result, to attend a workshop, you will be required to have a smartphone/laptop and data.

The information which we request in this application and registration form is done in terms of Section 9 of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013. MICareer collects and processes your personal information to identify you and register you on our educational support platforms as a student and beneficiary to our educational support programmes. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party and we will employ the necessary security measures to safeguard your personal information. Please take note that you have the right to object or request access to the information provided by you and to insist on the correction of any inaccurate information should the need arise. Consent: I give you my personal information with my consent. I understand that you need to have my personal information to be able to process my application and registration, and to provide me with the relevant educational support. I understand that without my personal information, you will not be able to assist me. Therefore, I give you my personal information voluntarily. If I am under the age of 18 years, the law treats me as a minor and you then need the consent of my parent/ guardian or the person who may legally give consent to the actions or decisions concerning me. I promise to submit such consent to accompany my application and registration as a student for your educational support programmes.
